Glamour porn has significant representation in the 2D porn industry. How well does that type of porn translate into virtual reality? StripzVR is one of the VR porn websites that demonstrates that a commitment to quality can indeed allow softcore glamour-focused porn to be successful in this new format. In hardcore VR porn the camera hovers just about eye-level with a male or female body underneath, participating in the action. In softcore VR the user’s body is generally absent. This allows the studio filming virtual reality content some camera movement that would not make sense with a body beneath it. Like other softcore VR content producers, the body beneath the camera is absent for StripzVR. The content of StripzVR’s catalog is very distinct. The studio tends to have natural lighting and allows the VR camera right to move around the model’s body, follow her from room to room or focus on particular body parts. Generally, StripzVR scenes are accompanied by slow techno music which nicely compliments the model often dancing slowly revealing different parts of her body as the scene progresses. The offering is distinctly glamour in what it provides. That is: there is no masturbation or anything overtly sexual. There is teasing, and the models give plenty of eye contact with the camera. Models do get naked, and although some show more than others, the focus is not on the vagina in the way that a softcore scene from a general porn site would commonly provide. From a virtual reality production perspective, StripzVR is top-notch. Whereas other -even top studios- struggle with natural lighting in VR, StripzVR has managed to find that mix of lighting and color to maximize the 3D, color and skin textures. Toggling the menu button on the top pops out a side panel that gives you a thumbnail of each model. The subsequent model page will provide each video of hers with thumbnails, download links (there are at least a half dozen different resolutions sizes for each video), and a comment section at the bottom. The site mod seems to be very responsive to users comments and suggestions. The site offers up about 100 different videos, many of the models appear in several--which is either a positive or a negative depending on your appreciation for their talent. To my eyes, their talent was outstanding with models like Pippa Doll, Aislin, and Sarah Blake offering multiple scenes. As an aside: "VR Webcams" link on the top ribbon didn’t seem to offer webcams that were particular to VR. StripzVR does a great job of offering what it advertises: a teasing sensual experience--if you want to sit back and enjoy the view this is the site for you.
