Since the beginning of “porn sites” back in 2015, we relied on the same factors of page analysis. To sum things up: Alexarank had the most weight, while the quality of videos, update schedule and prices influenced the final ranking.
As of 2023, we changed a lot, and rankings are no longer calculated by Alexa at all (since they closed their service). Similar to the algorithm changes by Google, we want to introduce what changed and how it affected the rankings. We switched to 3 other services that offer reliable data. Since the top rankings correlate with Google a lot, I guess we did a pretty good job here. Popular sites are still in the top rankings, but some quality sites that were buried in the rankings made it to the top now.
Winners and Losers
Camsoda for cam sites and POVR for VR porn sites made it to the top3, while they were way lower before. On second sight, I am not sure why they were that low before, to be honest. They were visible for sure, but now they have the place they deserve. Clips 4 Sale also made it to the best porn site in the premium area for a good reason.
Also, sites that (nearly) stopped uploading new videos went down a lot more than before. I wouldn’t say that they are not worth visiting, but you really make sure that these are the videos you like and you might be happier with a different selection from their niche.
